Recommended Action:
Recommendation
Motion to approve a resolution with Granicus extension of its Agreement with the City of Delray Beach for agenda management and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement to effectuate these services.

Body
Background:

Granicus provides cloud-based solutions for communications, meeting and agenda management, and digital services to more than 4,000 public sector organizations. The City now automates its Meeting and Agenda Process rather than using traditional methods, including paper agendas, long approval timelines and lots of extra staff hours. Legistar eliminates manual workloads, authorizes customization of approval sequences, allows City Staff to boost transparency by pushing agenda to the City's web page and permits video streaming of City meetings.

On May 20, 2015, the City of Delray Beach (City) City Commission awarded a one (1) year agreement with Granicus., Inc. (Contractor) for Video/Audio Streaming, paperless Agenda, Civic Engagement, File Conversion services, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods. The term of the Agreement originally expired on June 25, 2016 and City Staff did not seek approval of the two one year extensions available. However, the Contractor continued to provide services in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Agreement. The City desires to continue to procure these products and services from Granicus and exercise the options to renew the Agreement through June 25, 2018.
