Background:
The CRA awarded the Library a $343,000 A-GUIDE grant in the CRA FY 2017-18 budget which represents 15% of the Library’s $2,313,945 budget. The CRA also provided the Library an additional $110,000 this year to replace funding typically received from the City for a total funding of $453,000 which represents 20% of the Library’s annual budget. The A-Guide grant was awarded to support two programs: 1) Sundays and Mondays at the Library and 2) a Business Resource Center at the Library. Below are highlights and program snapshots from the Library’s 3Q FY 2017-18 A-Guide Report ending June 30, 2018.

Status of Other A-Guide Deliverables
1) Multi-lingual collateral materials: The Library is in the process of finalizing the design for the brochures that will have general SBDC information for Spanish and Creole speaking community members explaining the available and complimentary one-on-one consulting services.
2) 3 Construction-Related Seminars: This programming has now been incorporated into a half-day conference entitled “2018 Go Build Delray Subcontractor’s Mini-Con” to be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018. Originally planned for September, 2018, the new timing will avoid a conflict with the well-established Palm Beach Partners Business Matchmaker Conference and Expo set for Friday, September 21, 2018 which appeals to the same target market.
