Motion to approve nominations for appointment for three (3) regular members and one (1) student member to serve on the Education Board for unexpired terms ending July 31, 2020 and One (1) regular member to serve an unexpired term ending July 31, 2019.

Background:
There are four (4) vacancies on the Education Board due to the resignation of Ms. Jessica Rosato, Ms. Allison Castellano, Ms. Patricia Nelson and Mr. Bryan Weber. One (1) term is unexpired ending July 31, 2019. Three (3) terms are unexpired ending July 31, 2020. In addition, there is a vacancy for one (1) student member to serve an unexpired term ending July 31, 2020. Nominations for appointment are needed for four (4) regular members and one (1) student member. Please note there is only one (1) student applicant at this time.
Members of the Education Board must be a resident of the City, own property, own or operate a business within the City or have a child attending Delray Beach public schools. It is the intent, whenever possible, that the membership includes persons with a background in business, real estate and/or education.

The following individuals have submitted applications and would like to be considered for appointment:

A check for code violations and/or municipal liens was conducted. None were found. Voter registration verification was completed, and all are registered.

Based on the rotation system, the nominations for appointment will be made by Deputy Vice Mayor Johnson (Seat #4), Mayor Petrolia (Seat #5) and Vice Mayor Frankel (Seat #1) for three (3) regular members to serve unexpired terms ending July 31, ...
