Motion to Approve renewal of the revocable license agreement between Mae Volen Senior Center Inc. and the City of Delray Beach.

 

Body

Background:

The attached agreement is between the Mae Volen Senior Center Inc. and the City of Delray Beach to continue providing adult day health care services located at the 850 N. Congress Ave.  The term of the agreements is August 28, 2018 through September 30, 2021 with two (2) additional one (1) year renewal terms. 

 

The Mae Volen Center has been providing daily respire and therapeutic care for senior adults, both residents of the City of Delray Beach and others, at this location since September 27, 2005.

 

City Attorney Review:

Approved as to form and legal sufficiency.

 

Funding Source/Financial Impact:

Per contract agreement, Mae Volen Center agrees to pay the City a total of $1 on the first day of the term and on any renewal.

 

Timing of Request:

This item is time sensitive due to an expiring agreement.
