Motion to approve Amendment No. 1 with Oceanside Beach Services, Inc. to extend the Agreement for up to an additional ninety (90) days for beach equipment rental services in an amount not-to-exceed $98,857 (revenue).

 

Body

Background:

On January 6, 2014, the City of Delray Beach (City) issued an Agreement for Beach Equipment Concession for the Publicly Owned Beach (RFP No. 2013-48) effective through October 31, 2018 with no renewal options.

 

The Agreement expires on October 31, 2018. The City is requesting an extension for up to an additional ninety (90) days, to allow the City time to complete negotiations of RFP 2018-046 Beach Equipment Rental Concessions for a new agreement for services. The current  vendor has agreed to  this extension in an amount not-to-exceed $98,857.

 

This motion is in accordance with the City Code of Ordinances, Section 36 and City Policies and Procedures, Change Orders and Amendments; Contracts must be amended in the same manner in which they were executed.
