Background:
On September 28, 2017, the CRA awarded the Delray Beach Historical Society a $75,000 A-GUIDE grant plus $50,000 (to replace funding typically received from the City) for a total funding of $125,000 which represents 45% of DBHS’s program budget. The A-Guide grant was awarded to support the Delray Beach Historical Society’s Cultural Heritage and Museum Program. Below are highlights and a program snapshot from the DBHS’s 4Q FY 2017-18 A-Guide Report ending September 30, 2018.

It is noted that there are existing challenges with the process to sell historic photos due to the impact of the digital age and current non-compliance with copyrights. The Delray Beach Historical Society will be updating their processes for this service during the next year.
