Motion to approve Amendment No. 1 with A-Excellent Services, for air conditioning maintenance and repair services, as needed at City-owned facilities in an estimated amount of $250,000.

Background:
On June 1, 2014, the City of Deerfield Beach awarded a contract to A-Excellent Service, Inc. for HVAC Maintenance and Repair Services. The contract was valid from June 1, 2014 through May 31, 2017 with two, one-year renewal options.
On June 1, 2018 the City of Deerfield Beach exercised the second renewal option extending the contract period through May 31, 2019. On January 14, 2019 Deerfield Beach exercised its right to extend the current contract for 90 days beyond the expiration date; the new expiration date is August 31, 2019 while the services are re-procured.
The City of Delray Beach desires to continue utilize the agreement with the same terms and conditions for a not to exceed amount of $250,000. A-Excellent will provide the products and services required to perform HVAC maintenance and repair services as needed at City-owned facilities.

Approved as to form and legal sufficiency.

Funding is available from Account No. 001-41-350-519.46-20; Building Maintenance

This issue is very time sensitive in order to provide the required services without interruption.
