Motion to approve Amendment No. 1 with BJCE, Inc. to extend the Agreement, under the same terms and conditions at a cost of $140,000 and authorize the City Manager to approve renewal options, options, in the same amounts, contingent upon appropriation of funds.

Background:
The City of Delray Beach (City) issued a solicitation for Management services for Delray Beach and Lakeview Golf Clubs (RFP No.2016-079). On May 2, 2017, The City Commission approved an Agreement for Management services for Delray Beach and Lakeview Golf Clubs with BJCE, INC. The term of the Agreement was for two (2) years with two (2) one-year (1) options to renew for a total of four (4) years if all renewals are utilized.
The Agreement included provisions for renewal options; staff recommends exercising the first of two, one-year renewal options, for the period of May 1, 2019 through April 30, 2020. Should the City exercise the renewal options provided in the contract, the cumulative contract value is provided below. A 2018 overall satisfaction survey revealed more than 80% of all respondents scored satisfactory or above on golf course experiences such as course value/affordability, friendliness of staff, and food and beverage service.

Total: $280,000
