Motion to approve nominations for appointment for one (1) regular member and one (1) alternate member to serve on the Green Implementation Advancement Board for two year terms ending July 31, 2021.

Background:
The term for regular members Ms. Susan Lebrun and Mr. Mark Cassini will expire on July 31, 2019. Ms. Susan Lebrun will have served One (1) full term, is eligible, and would like to be nominated for reappointment. Mr. Mark Cassini will have served one (1) full term and would not like to be nominated for reappointment. Nominations for appointment are needed for one (1) regular member and one (1) alternate member to serve two (2) year terms ending July 31, 2021.
On July 21, 2009, the Delray Beach City Commission adopted Resolution No. 24-09 establishing the Green Implementation Advancement Board for the purpose of making recommendations to the City Commission regarding ways to improve the environmental sustainability of City programs, services, equipment and facilities; strategies for improving the environmental sustainability of the community; incentives for residents, businesses, and organizations to practice environmental conservation including recycling; proposed means to enhance water and energy conservation; ideas for promotion of tree planting and xeriscaping; best practices to be considered for implementation in Delray Beach, including long-term strategies; and proposed revisions to City ordinances to address Green technologies.
