Motion to approve Resolution No. 115-19 to award an agreement with Zambelli Fireworks Mfg. Co. for July 4TH Celebration Fireworks Display for the Parks and Recreation Department (RFP No. 2019-032) - $204,000 for the Agreement term and authorize the City Manager to approve renewal options in the amounts below, contingent upon appropriation of funds.

Background:
On April 8, 2019 the City of Delray Beach (City) advertised RFP No. 2019-032 July 4th Celebration Fireworks Display for the Parks and Recreation Department. The solicitation was viewed by twenty-eight (28) firms on BidSync. One proposal was received from Zambelli Fireworks Mfg. Co.
After review and evaluation of the proposal, Zambelli Fireworks Mfg. Co has been deemed the responsive and responsible vendor recommended for award. The term of the contract will be for three (3) years with the option to renew for an additional two, one-year periods.
The July 4th Celebration Fireworks Display will be located on a barge in the Atlantic Ocean directly East of the intersection of East Atlantic Avenue and Ocean Blvd. in Downtown Delray Beach (Longitude: 080-0319 W; Latitude: 26-27.69 N). The fireworks display will start approximately at 9:00 p.m. The display will be 20-25 minutes in duration. This display will be synchronized with our radio sponsor.
Should the City exercise the renewal options provided in the contract, the cumulative contract value is provided below.
