Motion to Approve Amendment No. 2 to the Interlocal Agreement between the City of Delray Beach and the Town of Gulfstream for fire-rescue services.

Background:
The City of Delray Beach (City) and the Town of Gulfstream (Town) entered into an Interlocal Agreement for Fire-Rescue Services to be provided to the Town (Agreement) on July 14, 2009 for a term of ten (10) years commencing on October 1, 2009 and expiring on September 30, 2019. However, the Agreement provided for an option to renew the Agreement for an additional five (5) year term upon the mutual agreement of the parties in writing. The parties have met and agree the Agreement is beneficial for both parties so the City and Town desire to exercise the option to renew the Agreement for an additional five (5) years.
