Title
AMENDMENT NO. 2 WITH MT CAUSLEY, INC., FOR INSPECTION, PLAN REVIEW, AND DEVELOPMENT REVIEW SERVICES - $200,000

Body
Recommended Action:
Recommendation
Motion to approve Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement with MT Causley, Inc., to extend the Agreement in an amount not-to-exceed $200,000 for Inspection, Plan Review, and Development Review Services.

Body
Background:
On May 26, 2015, the City of Delray Beach (City) issued an agreement (Agreement) with MT Causley, Inc., for Inspection, Plan Review, and Development Review Services (ITB No. 2015-056) with a three-year term and up to two one-year renewals. The Agreement was effective through August 18, 2018 (three-year term). On February 6, 2018, City approved Amendment No. 1 to renew the Agreement through August 18, 2019. The City and MT Causley have mutually agreed to exercise the final renewal option and amend Exhibit D Hourly Rate Schedule.

The Building Division will utilize the services on an as needed basis for inspections and reviews. Due to recent and unexpected staff vacancies, the Building Division needs additional support from MT Causley, Inc., to continue to provide timely inspection and plan review services.

The Agreement included provisions for renewal options. Should the City exercise the final renewal option provided in the contract, the cumulative contract value is provided below.

Estimated Contract Value
Renewal Term 2: August 19, 2019 - August 18, 2020 $200,000
