Motion to approve a Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Delray Beach, Florida, creating the Northwest/ Southwest Advisory Board in order to advise and provide recommendations regarding development projects in the Northwest and Southwest sections of the City; providing an effective date; and for other purposes.
Body
Background:
This Resolution would create the Northwest/Southwest Advisory Board that would serve to advise and provide recommendations regarding applications for development projects located within the NW/SW sections of the City of Delray Beach. The Board will be comprised of five members who either reside in or own property in the NW/SW section or otherwise own a business in the NW/SW area. As is typical with all City boards, the members of the NW/SW Advisory Board would be subject to the Sunshine Law and the laws pertaining to public records.
