Motion to Approve Employment Agreement with Dr. Julia Davidyan
Body
Background:
Dr. Julia Davidyan was appointed as the City’s Internal Auditor on July 17, 2018. The agreement memorializes the terms and benefits provided to Dr. Davidyan. The essential terms of the Agreement include the following:
- Annual salary of $140,000.00
- The Internal Auditor may join the general employees pension plan or receive a 9.5% contribution to a 457 plan
- Vacation and sick leave
- $220.00 per month auto allowance
- Disability, health and life insurance
- Three (3) months of severance pay if terminated without cause.
- Professional development dues and subscriptions
- The cost of the reasonable expenses for professional development and education.
- Ability to elect part-time status with the approval of the Commission and with the understanding that no benefits will be afforded during any period where the Employee elects part time status
