Background:
On November 26, 2019, DJ Doody, CRA General Counsel with Goren, Cherof, Doody, & Ezrol, P.A. (“Firm”), submitted a letter to the Board of Commissioners of the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (“Exhibit A”) stating that Mr. David Tolces, Esq. is leaving the Firm on December 13, 2019.
The letter requests a response as to whether the Delray Beach CRA desires to retain the Firm as CRA General Counsel or transfer the Delray Beach CRA files and trust account balance to David N. Tolces, P.A.
CRA Staff respectfully requests the Board to discuss this matter and advise Staff on how to proceed in responding to the correspondence received.
