Background:
The following information is being provided to the CRA Board as an update to the Ground Lease Agreement (“Ground Lease”) with Hatcher Construction & Development, Inc. (“Hatcher”).
On June 11, 2019, the CRA Board approved a Ground Lease with Hatcher to construct a two-story 6,000 SF office building on two (2) adjacent, vacant CRA owned parcels located at 20 and 26 NW 6th Avenue. The Ground Lease was executed on July 18, 2019.
At the November 19, 2019, CRA Board meeting, Hatcher presented preliminary construction elevations and a proposed site-plan for a three-story, free-standing 13,150 SF office building with 8,899 SF of leasable area and the third floor to be used as four (4) residential dwelling units. The CRA Board provided comments and feedback along with direction for Hatcher to revise the site plan to conform with the CRA Board approval granted on June 11, 2019.
At this time, Hatcher is coming before the CRA Board with a revised proposed site plan.
