Motion to Approve Resolution No. 27-20 to award an Agreement with W. W. Grainger, Inc in the estimated amount of $120,000 through December 31, 2022 utilizing the City of Tucson solicitation No. RFP 192163, and authorize the City Manager to approve renewal options, in the amounts below, contingent upon appropriation of funds.

Background:

On July 1, 2019,  the City of Tucson approved the award of an Agreement for Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) Supplies, Parts, Equipment, Materials and Related Services with W. W. Grainger, Inc.  The contract is valid through December 31, 2022 with two, one-year renewal options.

 

Grainger provides parts and supplies that are used in the every day maintenance, repair and operations of the City’s various facilities. Grainger distributes the most comprehensive line of MRO products and service categories and anything MRO related.  The City of Delray Beach (City) is in need of an Agreement for maintenance repair and operations supplies, parts, equipment, materials, and related services in the estimated amount of $120,000.

 

Should the City exercise all renewal options provided in the Agreement, the cumulative agreement value is provided below.
