Recommendation for appointment for one (1) regular member to serve an unexpired term ending January 14, 2023.

Background:
There is a vacancy on the Code Enforcement Board due to Mr. Wes Warning not attending 3 (three) consecutive meetings. Per Ordinance No. 31.17, enacted September 7, 2017, failure to attend three (3) regular meetings is defined as an abandonment of office and requires automatic removal from the committee, effective immediately. Nomination for an appointment is needed for one (1) regular member to serve an unexpired term ending January 14, 2023.
The Code Enforcement Board shall consist of seven (7) regular members and two (2) alternate members. All members of the Code Enforcement Board must be residents of the City or own property in the City, and/or own a business within the City limits. Appointments for both regular and alternate members shall be based on experience or interest in the fields of zoning and building control. The regular and alternate members of the Board shall, whenever possible, include an architect, a businessperson, an engineer, a general contractor, a subcontractor and a realtor.
Please be advised that Mr. Michael Schiff is an alternate member and would like to be considered for regular membership. The following individuals have submitted applications and would like to be nominated for an appointment:

A check for code violations and/or municipal liens were conducted. None were found. Voter registration verification was completed, and all are registered.
Based on the rotation system, the nomination for appointment will be made by Commissioner Frankel (Seat #1) for one (1) regular member to serve an unexpired term end...
