Motion to approve Amendment No. 2 to renew the contract for school crossing guard services with Action Labor of Florida, LLC, dba Staffing Connection, in the estimated amount of $350,000, for a total cumulative contract amount of $1,149,000

Background:
On September 15, 2015, the City Commission awarded Action Labor of Florida, LLC dba Staffing Connection for school crossing guard services. The term of the contract was for three (3) years with two (2), two-year renewal options. The City would like to exercise the final two-year option to renew through September 14, 2022.
The amount is based on projected 13,200 hours for twenty (20) school crossing guards and one (1) field supervisor billed at a rate of $12.64 per hour. The total per fiscal year is $167,000 with additional $16,000 added for unforeseen circumstances, for a total of $350,000.
Action Labor of Florida, LLC dba Staffing Connection shall be responsible for providing Crossing Guard Services at locations and times specified by the City, shall be completely responsible for the supervision of such personnel in accordance with contract specifications, terms and conditions, and shall exercise exclusive control over persons employed to fulfill these contract requirements.
The schools supervised are as follows: Carver Middle School, Banyan Creek Elementary School, Orchardview Elementary School, Pine Grove Elementary School, Plumosa Elementary School, SD Spady Elementary School, Village Academy, and Atlantic High School.
