Motion to approve the nomination for appointment for one (1) regular member to serve on the Board of Adjustment for a two (2) year term ending August 31, 2022 and one (1) alternate member to serve an unexpired term ending August 31, 2021.

Background:
There are two (2) vacancies on the Board of Adjustment. The term for regular member, Mr. Chris Davey will expire on August 31, 2020. Mr. Chris Davey will have served one (1) unexpired term and one (1) full term, is eligible, and would like to be nominated for reappointment. Nomination for appointment is needed for one (1) regular member to serve a two (2) year term ending August 31, 2022.
Nomination for appointment is needed for one (1) alternate member to serve an unexpired term ending August 31, 2021.
The Board of Adjustment shall consist of five (5) regular members and two (2) alternate members. To qualify for appointment, a person shall be either a resident of or own property in the City, and/or own a business within the City. In addition, the City Commission shall fill three seats on the Board with either an Architect, Landscape Architect, Realtor/Real Estate Broker, Engineer, General Contractor or Land Planner. The remaining two seats shall be at large. The Commission shall endeavor to appoint as many disciplines as possible to the board.

A check for code violations and/or municipal liens was conducted. None were found. Voter registration verification was completed, and all are registered.
