Motion to Approve Resolution No. 165-20 to award an Agreement to Enterprise Leasing Company of Florida, LLC, for undercover vehicle rental services in the estimated amount of $105,000 utilizing the City of Coral Springs RFP No. 17-C-053 and authorize the City Manager to exercise renewal options, in the amounts below, contingent upon appropriation of funds.

Body
Background:
On September 1, 2017, the City of Coral Springs awarded Enterprise Leasing Company of Florida, LLC a two (2) year Agreement for Undercover Vehicle Rental Services RFP No. 17-C-053 on behalf of the Southeast Florida Governmental Purchasing Cooperative Group. The Agreement includes two (2) two-year renewal options. The City of Coral Springs exercised the first two-year renewal option through August 31, 2021.

The City of Delray Beach Police Department requires vehicle leases/rentals for the purpose of undercover investigations and surveillance. The Department intends to utilize approximately eight (8) vehicles per month through the term of the contract for Vice, Intelligence, and Narcotics (VIN) personnel. Additional vehicles may be utilized by various units for short term rentals for undercover operations when needed. Due to the nature of the undercover operations, these vehicles are exchanged often, sometimes multiple times a day.

Should the City exercise the renewal options provided in the contract, the cumulative contract value is provided below.

Estimated Contract Value
Renewal 1 Upon execution - August 31, 2021 $105,000
