Background:
At the January 28, 2020 CRA Board Meeting, the CRA Board approved a Site Development Assistance Funding award for AGTLAND, P.A. (AGT Land). AGT Land is a full-service Landscape Architecture firm located at 132 North Swinton Avenue, within CRA sub-area #3.
Soon after the approval of the award and execution of the agreement, construction work was set to begin. However, contractors discovered significant structural issues with the property that required AGT Land to submit revised structural plans to the City of Delray Beach as well as with the Historical Board. This process caused major delays and the overall project was further delayed due to the unexpected COVID-19 pandemic.
The project is officially underway and has continued to progress smoothly. The original agreement termination date for AGT Land was September 30, 2020. As the project is moving forward, Staff is requesting the agreement be reinstated and the terms of the funding agreement amended to extend the termination date to the end of the year to December 31, 2020.
