Background:
The former Plumosa Elementary School property located at 1712 NW 2nd Avenue that is currently owned by the Palm Beach County School Board (Property) has been a discussion item on various CRA Board agendas over the past year (see June 23, 2020, September 14, 2020, and October 27, 2020, CRA Workshops and Regular Meetings). Most recently, the Property was brought up at the April 27, 2021, CRA Board meeting and the Board members supported adding this item on the next available CRA Board meeting for further discussion.
CRA Staff spoke with a Palm Beach County School District real estate representative and they asked if the CRA is interested in submitting an offer for the Property for the Palm Beach County School Board to consider.
At this time, CRA Staff is requesting the CRA Board provide direction on how the CRA Board wishes to proceed.
