Motion to approve a Revocable License Agreement with the Delray Beach Boxing, LLC. (Delray Boxing) to host competitive boxing matches knows as "Blacksheep Fight Night" on September 10, 2021 at the Delray Beach Tennis Center (Tennis Center).

Background:
Delray Boxing is located at 2455 N. Old Dixie Highway and combines an upscale fitness facility with professional boxers. The event is sanctioned by the State of Florida Athletic Commission and is anticipated to draw thousands of spectators and visitors to the City. Delray Boxing will pay the City $10,000.00 for the use of the Tennis Center for the one night event.

 

City Attorney Review:

Approved as to form and legal sufficiency.

 

Funding Source/Financial Impact:

Payment will be made to GL account 001-00-000-362-002 Stadium Rental.
