Motion to approve Resolution No. 151-21 to approve an Agreement with BJCE, Inc. in the amount of $140,000 for golf course management services for the Delray Beach Golf Club and Lakeview Golf Club for a term of one-year effective October 31, 2021.

Background:
On May 2, 2017, the City Commission approved the award of RFP 2016-079, Management Services for The Delray Beach Golf Club and Lakeview Golf Club for an initial two (2) year term with two (2) additional one-year renewal periods. The final one-year renewal period expired on April 30, 2021.
On April 20, 2021, City Commission approved Amendment No. 3 extending the term six-months through September 30, 2021.
During the City Commission Budget Workshop Meeting held on August 24, 2021, the City Commission decided to seek Letters of Interest (LOI) for a Public Private Partnership (P3) for the redesign, construction, and management of the City-owned 18-hole golf course and clubhouse. Based upon the direction of the City Commission, continuing with golf course management services will allow for continuance of operations during this period.
Based upon the foregoing, it is in the City's best interests to waive the full and open competitive acquisition process to continue management services for the Delray Beach Golf Club and Lakeview Golf Club. The City desires to procure these services from the incumbent vendor, BJCE, Inc., in accordance with the City's bid waiver policy and subject to the terms and conditions of the Agreement. The term of the Agreement will be for one-year effective October 31, 2021.
