Body
Recommended Action:
Recommendation
Motion to Approve Resolution No. 175-21 and Funding Agreement with the Achievement Center for Children and Families ("ACCF") in the amount of $81,000 per year for five years.

Body
Background:
ACCF provides services to under-resourced children from toddlers to teens. This particular Funding Agreement will allow services to be provided to families and their children attending one of the ACCF's campuses (North Campus-Family Resource Center, Pine Grove and Village Academy). ACCF has been a long partner of the City providing child services and family strengthening programs as well as being a partner in the City's Campaign for Grade Level Reading initiative since 2012. The City and ACCF share student information through our approved Data Sharing Agreement with the School District of Palm Beach County to track student progress.

ACCF had a similar Funding Agreement, in the amount of $81,000 annually, with the City that expired on September 30, 2021. The new five year agreement is similar to the one that expired except for being updated for legal sufficiency and Performance standards that can be found in the attached "Exhibit A".

City Attorney Review:
Approved as to form and legal sufficiency.

Funding Source/Financial Impact:
The allocation of $81,000 for FY 2022 is in Account # 001-90-810-559.82...
