Approve the amendment to extend the existing Site Development funding assistance agreement for Moon & Flower Coffeehouse, Tea & Apothecary for the proposed interior and exterior improvements project at 1201 North Federal Highway, within CRA sub-area #5.

Background:
At the August 31st, 2021, CRA Board Meeting, the CRA Board approved a Site Development funding award to Moon & Flower Coffeehouse, Tea & Apothecary (Moon and Flower), located at 1201 North Federal Highway, within CRA sub-area #5.
To date, Moon and Flower has completed interior painting, minor repairs, and have purchased many necessary supplies for additional work to commence. However, the grantee reported a change in their General Contractor that resulted in the delay of the submission of their permits to the City of Delray Beach. While the majority of the permits have been approved, the new General Contractor requires an additional four to six weeks to complete the work. Staff is requesting that the terms of the funding agreement be amended to extend the termination date from March 13, 2022, to September 30, 2022.
