Reinstate and Ratify the Second Amendment to the Work Assignment for Architectural Services with CPZ Architects, Inc. (“CPZ”) for the Conceptual Design of the NW 800 Block of West Atlantic Avenue.

Background:
The redevelopment of the NW 800 Block of West Atlantic is included in the CRA’s Budget & Work Plan for Fiscal Year 2021-2022. CRA staff contacted CPZ, a consultant who has a continuing contract with the CRA to provide architectural services.
On April 1, 2021, the CRA and CPZ entered into a Work Assignment (“Work Assignment”) to provide consulting services pursuant to the Original Agreement for the CRA Project, Conceptual Design of New Livable Environment for the NW 800 Block of West Atlantic Avenue.
On September 1, 2021, the CRA and CPZ entered into a First Amendment to the Work Assignment to revise the Scope of Services for the Project and to extend the Termination Date to December 31, 2021.
The CRA and CPZ agree to enter into a Second Amendment to the Work Assignment to reinstate the Work Assignment, amend the Scope of Services to provide additional services as described in the Exhibit “A”, and extend the Termination Date of the Work Assignment to April 30, 2023.
The Scope of Services includes the following tasks: review environmental site limitations, develop final conceptual design and site plan layout, conduct cost estimate analysis and comparison, develop project timeline, determine site infrastructure needs, and attend CRA meetings.
