Background:

On December 14, 2020, Seminole County under Solicitation No. IFB-603974-CAR entered into an agreement with Hydromax USA, LLC., to provide hydrant and valve maintenance, repair, and flushing services. The initial term of the Agreement is for a three (3) year term, valid from December 14, 2020, through December 13, 2023, with two (2) additional one (1) year renewals.

The Utilities Department (Utilities) requires yearly maintenance and repairs of both hydrant and water valves. Utilities have approximately 3,098 fire hydrants and 8,508 water valves city-wide. In addition, exercising water valves is a vital part of water utility operations to ensure proper operation.
