Motion to approve Resolution No. 133-22 to purchase one (1) 2023 Tahoe SUV and one (1) 2022 F-150 Pick-Up Truck utilizing the Florida Sheriff’s Association Contract No. FSA20-VEL28.0, valid from October 1, 2020, through September 30, 2022.

 

Body

Background:

On October 1, 2020, the Florida Sheriff's Association awarded Contract No. FSA 20‐VEL28.0 (FSA Contract) to several car dealerships, by geographical location, for the purchase of 339 different vehicle makes and models. The FSA Contract is valid from October 1, 2020, through September 30, 2022. 

 

The City of Delray Beach (City) has a need to purchase two (2) new vehicles utilizing the FSA Contract’s pricing, terms, and conditions.

 

This motion is in accordance with the Code of Ordinances Chapter 36, Commission Approval Required and Purchasing Policies, Accessing Contracts from Other Government Agencies and Not-for-Profit Organizations.
