Motion to approve Resolution No. 158-22 approving the recommendation of award and providing authority to negotiate an Agreement with the highest-ranked qualified firm, Hazen and Sawyer, PC, for the Owner’s Representative services for the design-build construction of the City’s new water treatment plant and related improvements.
Body
Background:
On May 20, 2022, the City advertised Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2022-034 for Design-Build and Construction services. The solicitation was viewed by ninety-six (96) potential proposers and on June 24, 2022, the City opened and announced the two (2) proposals that were received.
The Selection Committee independently evaluated the proposals based on the criteria disclosed in the solicitation. In a publicly noticed meeting held on August 8, 2022, the committee revealed and discussed its scoring. The scores were tabulated by the Purchasing Division to arrive at the final score for each firm and the final overall ranking.
The proposals were ranked as follows:

This motion is in accordance with the Code of Ordinances Chapter 36, Commission Approval Required.
