Background:
The purpose of this request is to amend the adopted Fiscal Year 2021-22 budget to ratify interdepartmental budget transfers. Under the current City of Delray Beach Budget Transfer Policy, transfers of appropriations between departments must be approved by the respective department heads involved in the transfer, prior to being submitted to the City Manager for approval. Section 4.05(F) of the City Charter also provides that the Commission may transfer any unencumbered appropriation balance, or any portion thereof, from one department, fund or agency to another. As such, staff is hereby presenting all interdepartmental transfers which occurred during Fiscal year 2022 for ratification.
