Motion to approve the appointment of two (2) student members to serve on the Education Board for a term ending July 31, 2023.
Body
Background:
There are two (2) vacancies on the Education Board for student members to serve a one (1) year term ending July 31, 2023. A nomination for an appointment is needed for two (2) student members to serve a term ending July 31, 2023.
Members of the Education Board must be a resident of the City, own property, own or operate a business within the City or attend a Delray Beach public school. It is the intent, whenever possible, that the membership includes persons with a background in business, real estate, and/or education.
The following individuals have submitted applications and would like to be considered for an appointment:

A check for code violations and/or liens was conducted. None were found. Students are not registered to vote.
Based on the rotation system, the nomination for an appointment for two (2) student members to serve a term ending July 31, 2023, will be made by Vice-Mayor Frankel (Seat #1) and Deputy Vice-Mayor Casale (Seat #2).
