Approve the Work Assignment for Architectural Services with Currie Sowards Aguila Architects, Inc. (CSA) for Comprehensive Study of the CRA-Owned Properties in the West Atlantic Avenue Area (Project).

Background:
The redevelopment of CRA-owned parcels in the West Atlantic Avenue area is included in the Delray Beach CRA Redevelopment Plan and West Atlantic Avenue Master Plan. As such, CRA staff contacted CSA, a consultant that has a continuing contract with the CRA to provide architectural services, to provide a proposal to conduct a comprehensive study of the CRA-owned properties within the West Atlantic Avenue area (Project). This Project would entail assistance in site analysis to determine potential development opportunities and strategies potential development of each property taking into consideration the neighboring community needs.
The Scope of Services for the Project should be completed no later than September 30, 2023. The cost to fulfill the Scope of Services is a not to exceed cost of $120,000.
At this time, CRA staff is seeking approval of the Work Assignment with CSA to conduct a comprehensive study of the CRA-owned properties within the West Atlantic Avenue area to determine potential development opportunities and strategies.
