Title

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT IN FAVOR OF THE CITY FOR INSTALLATION OF A WATER SERVICE LINE, IN STATE RIGHT OF WAY  FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 701 S OCEAN BOULEVARD

Body

Recommended Action:

Recommendation

Motion to approve and accept a Hold Harmless Agreement for installation of a water service line in state right of way for property at 701 S Ocean Boulevard.

Body

Background:

Motion to approve and accept Hold Harmless Agreement in favor of the City due to Owner, Mark Timothy, Inc., proposing to install a new 2-inch potable water service within the State Right-of-Way on S Ocean Boulevard. The proposed new 2-inch potable water service is intended to serve the property at 701 S Ocean Boulevard. As a result, a permit from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is required as the City will be maintaining that part of the service within the FDOT right-of-way. FDOT requires the City sign the permit application.

There is no City cost now or in the future for this item.
