Approve a First Amendment to the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 A.-G.U.I.D.E. Funding Agreements for all Funding Recipients.

Background:
At the September 1, 2023 CRA Workshop Meeting, several modifications to the A.-G.U.I.D.E. Guidelines and Funding Agreement were discussed and approved by the board. At the September 29, 2022 Regular CRA Meeting, the A.-G.U.I.D.E. Funding Agreements with the A.-G.U.I.D.E. Non-Profit Partners were approved.
The current Funding Agreement outlines the reporting requirements and other responsibilities with regard to the funding provided. A.-G.U.I.D.E. Partners are to submit quarterly reports documenting the expenditure of funds and the progress towards the outcomes projected in their Goals and Outcomes Report and Budget.
Currently, funds are evenly disbursed on a quarterly basis after expenses are verified. At this time, quarterly payments cannot exceed one-fourth of the funding amount paid by the CRA to the grantee. Staff is requesting an amendment to the Funding Agreement to allow flexibility with the quarterly payment amount, after verification, to accommodate varying grantee eligible expenses each quarter. However, the total payments will not exceed the total award amount approved by the CRA Board.
