Motion to approve Resolution No. 76-23 approving an Agreement with Fisher Scientific Company, LLC., utilizing pricing from the University of California RFP Solicitation No. 002101-July2020, in  an amount not to exceed $64,871.18.

Background:

On  August 19, 2020, the University of California requested proposals for qualified and experience firms to provide General Lab Supplies under RFP No. 002101-July2020. On February 9, 2021, Fisher Scientific Company, LLC. was notified and selected as one of the sole awardees of the RFP. The initial term of the agreement through the Master Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing d/b/a OMNIA Partners is effective from March 1, 2021, through February 28, 2025, with optional extensions at the University’s discretion.

 

Utilities requests to procure a purchase order with Fisher Scientific, LLC for purchase of an Ion Chromatography (IC) instrument. This instrument is used in testing water samples for contaminants. The existing instrument is thirteen (13) years old and has reached its useful life.

Approved as to form and legal sufficiency.
