Body

Background:

Riptides Lacrosse submitted a Special Event Application on January 26, 2024 for the Bash @ the Beach Lacrosse Tournament. This is a lacrosse tournament where the proceeds go to help

local lacrosse players attend college showcases and events as well as be able to play lacrosse. This tournament has gone on for 7 years and was last held in 2022. It is an all day event and brings in about 1200 people. Game times will be staggered to allow for parking to clear in between. All parking lots will be available at the complex (except for the pool). There will be parking attendants on site to direct traffic to ensure the flow of traffic

Special Event Advisory Committee (SETAC):

SETAC recommends DSMG approve the event.

No special conditions are recommended by SETAC

Funding Source/Financial Impact:

Anticipated city costs to event producer are to be determined.

Timing of Request:

Event producer would like to open registration to lacrosse teams.
