ANNUAL PRESENTATION OF THE DELRAY BEACH SPORTS DESTINATION COMMITTEE

Background:
The Sports Destination Committee last provided an update to the City Commission in November 2016. The Committee will provide a year-to-date update of tournaments and sporting events that have been held in/hosted by the City of Delray Beach within the last year and the economic impact derived from those events.
Funding Source/Financial Impact:
The Delray Beach Sports Destination Committee does not receive any direct funding from Delray Beach. Sports events, tournament,s and programs endorsed by the Sports Destination Committee are either funded through independent leagues, promoters, or the City of Delray Beach Parks and Recreation Department.
Timing of Request:
This is not a time sensitive matter.
