Approve the Second Amendment to the Consulting Work Assignment with Song & Associates, Inc. for 95 SW 5th Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33444.

Background:
On October 1, 2018, the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) entered into an Agreement with Song and Associates, Inc. for professional contracting services. On November 13, 2018, the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) entered into a Work Assignment with Song and Associates, Inc. for professional architectural services to include conceptual/schematic and other architectural consulting services for the commercially zoned CRA owned property located at 95 SW 5th Avenue. On June 1, 2019, the CRA Board approved the First Amendment to the original Work Assignment to include additional consulting services, not included in the original Work Assignment.

The City of Delray Beach Development Services Department Site Plan Review and Appearance Board (SPRAB) approval is required for this project. As part of this process, the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is reviewing the project design for technical compliance. During the City’s review process, comments related to the requirement for right of way improvements were issued. The original work assignment and first amendment did not include design within the right of way.

The request before the Board is to amend the work assignment to include additional design and consulting services related to the required right of way improvements in the amount of $4,500.
