Background:
An accreditation program has long been recognized as a means of maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Accreditation is the certification by an independent reviewing authority that an entity has met specific requirements and prescribed standards. Law enforcement agencies and Inspector Generals in Florida can attain accredited status through the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc.
The Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc. recognizes there are dedicated individuals and committees that go above and beyond expectations or have developed innovative ways of doing business that deserve special recognition through the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc. awards program. Awards program recognizes individuals for their outstanding contributions to the law enforcement field. The Accreditation Manager of the Year Award honors a highly motivated individual who has exhibited the skills to accomplish the agency's goals of achieving state accreditation and all related activities.
