Motion to approve sixth amendment to the agreement between the City of Delray Beach and Superion, LLC (Former Sungard Public Sector, Inc.) for purchases of additional software applications in the amount not to exceed $160,000

Background:
The Police Department currently utilizes ONESolution public safety software from Superion, LLC. The software is used daily by the Police Department personnel, to deliver concise and reliable information fast. With the state of the art software, Communications specialists can instantly share knowledge of changing events with officers in the field, officers can leverage existing data on suspects and previous incidents, and command staff can strategize with detailed data on crime patterns. The ONESolution software streamlines communications between multiple responding agencies, encouraging collaboration and reducing operational costs. The Police Department is trying to purchase additional software applications to include Automatic Vehicle Locator (AVL), Freedom, and Field Training Online (FTO). Also, the Police Department is trying to obtain professional services from Superion, LLC, associated with the implementation of mobile evidence vouchers which does not have any effect on the current agreement between the City of Delray Beach and Superion, LLC.
Mobile Evidence Vouchers - moving the evidence vouchers from Records Management System (RMS) to mobile application will allow officers to complete evidence forms for any evidence collected while in the field instead of having to come to the Police Department.
