On (June 15, 2018) the City of West Palm Beach issued a contract with five vendors: DP Development, Gen - X Builders, R&D Paving, Shamus Paving, and Wynn and Sons for Milling and Paving (Solicitation No. ITB 17-18-121). The contract is valid through the following dates:
DP Development - August 16, 2021
Gen Ex Builders - September 18, 2021
R&D Paving - September 18, 2021
Wynn & Sons - September 4, 2021
Shamus Paving - September 24, 2021
The City of Delray Beach (City) performs routine roadway milling and repaving of City roads on a rotating basis based on their Pavement Condition Index Rating (PCI). Roadways which exhibit an OCI rating between 50 - 70 typically only require milling and repaving to bring their OCI rating up to 100. Furthermore, it is estimated that the repaved roadways will have a new life expectancy of approximately 10-15 years.
