Background:
At the May 26, 2020, CRA Board Meeting, the CRA Board approved a Site Development Assistance Funding award for Advanced Chiropractic of South Florida, LLC (Advanced Chiropractic) for their move and expansion to Delray Beach at 104 SW 11 Avenue, within CRA sub-area #3.
While improvements have commenced, an extension to their Agreement is needed. In addition to the unexpected delays caused by COVID-19 at the start of the project, recently the owner had to change contractors on the project. This change will affect the project’s timely completion as it is likely that some of the work will need to be redone.
The original agreement termination date for Advanced Chiropractic was December 31, 2020. As the project is still moving forward, Staff is requesting the terms of the funding agreement be amended to extend the termination date to March 31, 2021.
