Anhydrous Ammonia (ammonia with water), in conjunction with chlorine, is used in water treatment process to produce potable water. When combined, these chemicals produce chloramines, which last longer than chlorine and offer consistent bacterial control. It also helps by regulating disinfectant by-products. This is a critical chemical used in the water treatment process.
