Motion to approve increase in the amount of $83,981 to the contract value to Advanced Data Processing Inc. (ADPI) for Professional Public Emergency Medical Transportation (PEMT) Program Services and authorize the City Manager to approval renewal options, in the amounts below, contingent upon appropriation of funds.

Background:
On August 28, 2019, the City of Tamarac awarded a three (3) year Agreement for the administration, processing, and collection of all costs associated with EMS patient medical billing and related professional services to Advanced Data Processing, Inc. (ADPI) with the option to renew the Agreement for two (2) one-year renewal terms.

On September 10, 2020, the City of Delray Beach (City) awarded a contract to Advanced Data Processing, Inc. (ADPI) utilizing City of Tamarac Solicitation 16-14 R. This contract is used by the Finance Department to bill and collect payment for EMS patients.

On July 9, 2019, City Commission approved Resolution No. 136-19 authorizing the City to utilize a Volusia County contract with Advanced Data Processing Inc. (ADPI) for Professional Public Emergency Medical Transportation (PEMT) Program Services, which is a program administered by the Fire Rescue Department. While the contract was renewable through July 6, 2022, the City was recently notified by Volusia County that they did not intend to renew the contract and the contract expired on July 6, 2021.
