First Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement between the City of Delray Beach and Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency for funding for Capital Improvement Projects within the CRA District for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 - NE 3RD STREET/AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT - $30,000
Body
Recommended Action:
Recommendation
Board approval of the First Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement (“ILA”) between the City of Delray Beach (“City”) and Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (“CRA”) for funding for Capital Improvement Projects within the CRA District for Fiscal Year 2021-2022.
Body
Background:
On July 6, 2022, the CRA received a funding request in the amount of Thirty Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($30,000) for the NE 3rd Street/Avenue Improvements Project for additional CEI Services.
The City and the CRA entered into an Interlocal Agreement for Funding Construction/Professional Services FY 2021-2022 dated March 1, 2022 (“Original Agreement”) which included the NE 3rd Street/Avenue Improvements Project. This is an ongoing CIP project. Due to material shortages, there was a delay in the project timeline which is resulting in the need for additional CEI Services.
The City and the CRA desire to enter into this First Amendment in order to amend Exhibit “A” to the Original Agreement to provide further adjustments to the project costs. Attached is the First Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement reflecting the adjustments to project costs.
At this time, Staff is requesting Board approval of the First Amendment to the ILA between the City and the CRA for funding for Capital Improvement Projects within the CRA District for Fiscal Year 2021-2022.
