Background:

 

Carver Isle

 

On January 11, 2018, the CRA entered into an agreement with Pasquale Kuritzky Architecture, Inc. to provide professional services pre-design through construction administration services for the Carver Isle development to be located on CRA-owned lots (approximately 1 acre) on the west side of SW 7th Avenue, between SW 3rd and 4th Streets, and includes a property located at 238 SW 6th Avenue.  The CRA intends to develop approximately 9-10 single family homes on the site.  The architect is contracted to develop the following:

 

                     2 prototypes with 3 options on material façade elements-elevations:

o                     2 story model

§                     4 bedroom/3 or 2.5 bathrooms

o                     1 story model

§                     3 bedroom/2 bathrooms

                     Each home will include a carport or garage

                     Approximately 1,300 square feet total floor area

 

Carver Square

 

On January 11, 2018, the CRA also entered into an agreement with Brooks + Scarpa Architects, Inc. to provide professional services pre-design through construction administration services for the 2-acre CRA-owned Carver Square development bounded by SW 2nd Court to the North, SW 3rd Street to the South, SW 7th Avenue to the East, and SW 8th Avenue to the West.  The CRA intends to develop 20 single family homes on the site.  The architect is contracted to develop the following:

 

                     4 prototypes with 2 options on material façade elements-elevations:

o                     2 story models

§                     4 bedroom/3 or 2.5 bathrooms

§                     3 bedroom/2.5 bathrooms

o                     1 story models

§                     4 bedroom/2 bathrooms

§                     3 bedroom/2 bathrooms

                     Each home will include a carport or garage

                     Approximately 1,300 square feet total floor area

 

Both architects will give a brief presentation to the Board including the conceptual design to obtain feedback and direction.  Once the conceptual plan phase is complete, the architects will proceed to construction drawings.
