Title
SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE PURCHASE AND RELOCATION AGREEMENT WITH 215 NE 7th, LLC - 215 NE 7TH AVENUE HISTORIC HOME

Body
Recommended Action:
Recommendation
Approve the Second Amendment to the Purchase and Relocation Agreement between the CRA and Azure 215 NE 7th, LLC, for the relocation of the historic house currently located at 215 NE 7th Avenue and authorize the Board Chair to execute all related documents.

Swinton Avenue. The relocation will not only preserve a significant piece of history, but also be utilized for future additional CRA office space. The Historic Home Relocation was approved by the Historic Preservation Board on July 3, 2019.

Due to Hurricane Dorian and unforeseen circumstances imposed upon the area, as well as, further necessary utility coordination efforts, additional time is required for finalizing the logistics. Therefore, the Purchaser and Seller have agreed to extend the date of the closing and the House Removal and Relocation due to unforeseen natural conditions and additional coordination efforts necessary for the House relocation.

Based on the above, CRA staff recommends approval of the Amendment which extends the deadline to relocate the house from September 30, 2019 to October ...
